REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

CAREVETS CAN PROVIDE ONLINE & REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS, BEFORE REQUESTING PLEASE READ BELOW

 

CareVets may only prescribe Prescription Only Medicines (Category POM-V) for animals under their care.

1. DIRECT FROM CAREVETS:  

Please allow 2 working days, thank you.

​

2. FROM YOUR ONLINE SUPPLIER:

Please allow 7 working days. 

​

We can supply written prescriptions for pets under our care that are stable. These are pets that are established on the medication, and with no noted side-effects. 

​

Online prescriptions are forwarded directly to the online supplier.

​

In the case of repeat prescriptions for medication - for stable pets, we need to examine your pet every 3 months, which can vary depending on the case.

​

The Vet needs to have seen your pet recently enough to be confident of their state of health before prescribing medicines.

​

Our fee for a written prescription is 25.00+VAT. For controlled drugs conditions may vary.  In most cases 7 working days will be enough but this can change, so please submit the form and we will be in touch.
