BEFORE REQUESTING TO BOOK, PLEASE READ ON

AT THE TIME OF BOOKING

1. A 25.00 fee is payable at the time of booking.

2. This is non-refundable if cancelled at short notice - 24 hours notice or less.

3. If cancelled at short notice, due to time pressures, regrettably, we are unable to offer rebooking. 

4. For any cancellations of any nature, CareVets reserves the right to decline rebooking.

THE DAY BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

1. Please keep your cat in the night before. 

2. Are they flea-free? Please treat the day before if not as it may result in your procedure being cancelled.

3. Could your cat be pregnant? Even cats that just go to the garden or go out for a short time can get pregnant.

ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

1. Your cat will need to be starved for 8 hours on the day of procedure and be fit enough to undergo the procedure. 

2. Please treat your cat for fleas before they come into our practice.

3. If your cat has had kittens, they will need to have finished lactating (producing milk) at the time of the operation.

4. If your cat is not starved, unwell, possibly pregnant or carrying fleas or ticks, it may result in the procedure being postponed or cancelled.
